Today, we had the pleasure of speaking with manager LA-ivo,
(1048018). With his second team, Take Me to Your Lizard, he was able to win both the US Open Cup and the Major League this season. This is a great feat that only a handful of people managed to achieve so far. It was his only his second season in the ML but season 83 will be a memorable one for his team forever. Come join us while we pick his brain about his incredible season. You might learn something new. I would also like to thank LA-ivo for taking the time to share his vast experience and knowledge with us. I wish him the best of luck for all his teams. Lets begin.

Ahhhhh....
The off-season is an interesting week in the Hattrick community. It's the week where managers who won their league can sit back and relax, maybe think about life and have some barbecue. The parents with kids, might spend some time with them or even with their friends.
The mood of managers varies around the Hattrick community. Some managers are happy they are getting promoted or finishing #1 in their league and giving themselves a pat on the back for their achievement. For those managers that are disappointed in themselves, they are trying to plan for next season or try to win a qualifiers and etc.
In my first and short article, I will discuss with you about the activities and things that are being done in off-season around the community.

Things need updates, and teams need improving.
The buddy whose bachelor party I referenced the last time I sat down to write an article like this has a couple kids now. Hell, I have a kid now. Meanwhile in Hattrick between, specialties tweaks, man-marking, and the USA series pyramids have all gone through some dramatic changes.
My previous article got up to 36 likes and a couple thousand views. If that isn't viral (in Hattrick terms) like GungGam style, it is at least moderately popular, like a cute cat video. So screw it, you all liked the last one so much, we are now up to FIVE things you can do to improve your team. If you didn't like the last article, LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE!!

We all have heard and read that if you have a Youth Academy, and you should take the last player offered to you no matter what because it helps clean the Pool. But before now even though an initiative existed, no one tracked and trended. Sharing findings for the greater HT-community, and a call to help to HT-USA managers.

Winning a medal with a national team is the greatest success a nation can achieve in Hattrick. Even by acknowledging that this is a very difficult task to accomplish we cannot be satisfied by winning only one medal over the last real life decade.
A strategy to improve our chances is discussed and several useful links for youth academy optimization, player development and involvement in the national team community are shared.

In this guide, I’ll try to explain the different types of skills and how they should be trained for NT players.
I’ll refer to how the Italian NT players are trained, but I think this advice is good for medium to large countries, for small countries it could be more useful training different types of players.
The skills that I’m going to suggest are for players 28-29 years old, when they could play on their countries NT.
Remember: for the salary (every time the player plays for his NT, 33% of his salary is paid if he plays for a foreign NT, 40% if he plays for his country) and for the experience (a single game in NT counts as ten games in his team).
It won’t be a “mathematical” article: right now, it’s running studies to find the best skill combination to have the best chance to win. It will be possible to make an article about these studies, but here the focus here is to understand the different types of players and their training.
