2295 fans braved the pouring rain at Korriban Stronghold. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Diego Bich and . BROTHERHOOD started off with a 4-5-0 lineup. Lineup: Vogel - Bjerrum, Wakelam, Schermann, Saveljeff - Weiss, 茨栋 (Cidong), Radigue, Al-Jashmy, Borromeo -.

Portuguay decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. They fielded: Avramopoulos - Karai, Nunziati - Frassanito, Lauch, Beaurain, Tercjak, Boscà - Maeir, Bernard, Sommarander.

An accurate cross from Medir Boscà of Portuguay was met with a wonderful glancing header from Håkan Sommarander, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 0 - 1. BROTHERHOOD's Vagner Weiss was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 6 minutes. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, Uhuru Karai would have put Portuguay up another goal 17 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. 22 minutes into the game, BROTHERHOOD had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. 26 minutes into the game, BROTHERHOOD seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. Stefano Nunziati, who often relies on his speed, had a rotten day on the drenched grass. With 40 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Marco Lauch of Portuguay to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Portuguay, who controlled the ball 69 percent of the time.

During the break, BROTHERHOOD's coach went through the team's tactics yet again, getting them up to passable organisation. Horacio Bernard wanted to play on, but the Portuguay coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 46 minutes into the game by Fabio Alegre. After 70 minutes Portuguay's Fabio Alegre limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. After 79 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as BROTHERHOOD found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. After 80 minutes, Portuguay's Silvio Maeir burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Portuguay lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Andrea Frassanito was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 82 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Fabio Alegre received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 83 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Portuguay fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. With the scoreboard showing that 85 minutes had been played, Portuguay nearly put themselves up another goal after Marco Lauch came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. When Karlo Saveljeff left the game because of a back injury after 86 minutes, BROTHERHOOD had to continue a man short due to there being no available replacements. The BROTHERHOOD captaincy was handed to Yassin Abdulbary Al-Jashmy. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Portuguay, with 75 percent of the ball.

BROTHERHOOD's top performer was clearly Francesco Borromeo. Roland Vogel turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Portuguay player was Arnaud Beaurain. On the other hand, Stefano Nunziati's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 4.
