Bergamot 2 - 1 Park

2030 spectators had come to Where the Wild Roses Grow this cloudy day. Volkert Neu-Wulmstorf was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alexander Axnix and . Bergamot decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Azzi - Cesareo, Cioncolini, Brambilla - Salici, Mola, Carbonaro, Inversi, Robescu - Galeazzo, Scuffi.

Park started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Turner - Gardiner, Atre, John, Ratcliff - Ruddy, Malpass, Scheding, Hashmi, Westbury - Russell.

Going for long shots seemed to be the pick of the day for Park, taking advantage of their brilliant level with that tactic. Making his way up the middle 10 minutes into the match, Adolfo Galeazzo almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert Russell Turner blocked it to keep the score level. Bergamot's Fabio Mola was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 35 minutes. Bergamot were very close to putting themselves one up after 39 minutes as Giancarlo Carbonaro got through on the left. However, his concentration failed him, and he shot wide. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Giancarlo Carbonaro got himself booked. The manager of Bergamot was not happy. 0 - 0 was the halftime score. Bergamot had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Instead of playing a 50/50 ball into the penalty area, Park's Rajah Atre skipped past the marking defender and passed the ball to Scottie Ratcliff who finished it off from distance. The keeper could only stand and watch as the hard shot hit the underside of the cross bar, and in to make it 0 - 1 with 53 minutes played. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Bergamot's Adolfo Galeazzo was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 65 minutes. Basilio Polizzi was given a chance to change things around. After 70 minutes, Bergamot switched Fabio Mola with Enrico Mauro Felici Ridolfi, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. A foul 75 minutes into the game resulted in a free kick for Bergamot. Guglielmo Scuffi took advantage as he curled the equalising goal into the top corner, just out of the reach of the keeper. 1 - 1. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Bergamot coach decided it was time for a substitution. Davide Luigi Salici reluctantly made way for Marco Marrazzo on the pitch. Bergamot took the lead after 81 minutes as a result of Giancarlo Carbonaro's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1. Park focused on finding shooting opportunities from distance and after 85 minutes Raees Hashmi fired off the big cannon, but the shot went sailing over the cross bar and into the car park. With their counter attack move halted 87 minutes into the game, Park were left with a free kick. The ball is passed straight through to the other end of the penalty area, with hopes for it to reach Darren Gardiner. However, he didn't have his wits about him and the ball went out. Bergamot enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Bergamot's best player was Libero Azzi. On the other hand, Antonio Brambilla's play was disheartening. The most dominating Park player was without a doubt David Malpass. Rajah Atre turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
