manseAA 1 - 4 Sahura

3603 fans braved the pouring rain at Peltolammi Stadium. Milan Hanzal was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Azmy Kamil and Harald Ardon. manseAA tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. Starters: Bruno - Kiiskilä, Oravamäki, Torpström, Selkee - Elijoki, Teräntö, Suhonen, Riuttala, Wall - Bokovin.

Sahura started off with a 5-3-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Polak - Candelli, Meulemans, Uyaynah, Søndrål, Hamdan - Abd El Fattah, Huck, Bin-Jaber - Štěpán, Ibrahim.

Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Sahura, taking advantage of their magnificent level with that tactic. 5 minutes into the game, manseAA seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. 21 minutes into the game, manseAA seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. Sahura caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 24 minutes into the match. Habib Ibrahim was able to finish off the move - 0 - 1. Habib Ibrahim left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 25 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Venkat 'Warrior' Variar was the replacement. With 25 minutes played, Sahura put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Martin 'Atheling' Søndrål. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Sahura, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that manseAA had passable organisation. After 56 minutes, manseAA raised their score by one when Reimo Wall's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by Benedikt Bokovin. 1 - 2. Thighs bulging, Seve Suhonen charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. The coach of Sahura was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes, Naser Khallali came on for Sadik 'Cobra' Abd El Fattah. After 70 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as manseAA found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. manseAA put pressure on the visitors' central defence 72 minutes into the game, but Miso Selkee couldn't find an opening. Michal Štěpán was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a Sahura counterattack from the left after 73 minutes. His neat finish made the score 1 - 3. Jan-Okko Meulemans wanted to play on, but the Sahura coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by Yiannis 'The Mummy' Tsiolas. Sahura played a good counterattacking move down the left 80 minutes into the match, with Fuad 'The Enforcer' Bin-Jaber finishing well for 1 - 4. The players of Sahura now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. With 85 minutes gone, Azmi Hamdan suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Sahura caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Fuad 'The Enforcer' Bin-Jaber got himself booked. The manager of Sahura was not happy. manseAA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

manseAA's top performer was clearly Seve Suhonen. Yamil Bruno was a disappointment, however. Venkat 'Warrior' Variar performed admirably for Sahura. Azmi Hamdan on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 4.
