Clear skies welcomed the 3229 spectators who had made their way to River Coliseum. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rikard Larsson and Fidel Castro. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for River Ale. Lineup: Ruà - Belda, Congestrì - De Bona, Scorza, Muja, Zamparo, Aufiero - Santucci, Bertuletti, Di Nicola.

EVILinc decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. Starters: Murphy - Tuckey, Roberts - Chí Minh, Hutton, Baratović, Skipper, Naik - Koula, McMullan, Faulkner.

After 4 minutes, River Ale's Carlo Santucci swiftly ran past Alexander Roberts and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 0. Roberto De Bona's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 10 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to Carlo Santucci who knocked it in for River Ale. 2 - 0! The players of River Ale now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The home team's fans were upset when, after 17 minutes, the visiting Arron McMullan broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 2 - 1 was the score. After 26 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after Mitch Koula made it through the middle and struck home to make it 2 - 2. 2 - 3 was the score with 32 minutes played, after Arron McMullan cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for EVILinc. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Tika Tuckey was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 38 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 3. EVILinc had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.

EVILinc came close to extending their lead as Miroslav Baratović delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 48 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. The referee signalled a penalty 77 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. Rohit Naik knocked it home to make the score 2 - 4. After 80 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave Miroslav Baratović a chance to increase the lead for EVILinc, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 5. After this, you could see that the players of EVILinc were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. A drive down the left side allowed Miroslav Baratović to get in close and score another goal for EVILinc after 81 minutes, taking the score to 2 - 6. EVILinc claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 70 percent.

The most dominating River Ale player was without a doubt Roberto De Bona. Luca Ruà on the other hand, had a terrible day. Miroslav Baratović performed admirably for EVILinc. On the other hand, Ross Murphy's play was disheartening. The match ends 2 - 6.
