EVILinc 4 - 1 Park

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 2643 to Somerville Super Stadium. Ivari Külaots was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ratilo Meyer zu Brickwedde and . A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for EVILinc. The following players had been chosen: Murphy - Naik, Roberts - Chí Minh, Hutton, McMullan, Skipper, Tuckey - Koula, Baratović, Faulkner.

Park had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: John - Rance, Bramble, Clegg - Caggiula, Mörnner, Langø, Mahler, Ritchens - Johnson, Csutak.

A foul after 21 minutes resulted in a free kick. Rohit Naik cannonballed it, giving the home team the lead 1 - 0. Cheers filled the stadium as Mitch Koula broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to EVILinc. After this, you could see that the players of EVILinc were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by EVILinc, with 73 percent of the ball.

The visitors replied 59 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as Gyula Csutak dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. EVILinc were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 76 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by Rohit Naik. 3 - 1 for the home side. 82 minutes into the game, Miroslav Baratović had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Wally Mueller. EVILinc's Rohit Naik struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 1 after 86 minutes. At that, Rohit Naik was noted down for a hat trick! With 89 minutes played, the Park coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Scottie Ratcliff came on, Micah Bramble had to leave the fray. The bench was restless, and with 89 minutes passed Park's coach gave Rod Button the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Jordie John reluctantly left the field. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Park's Orlando Rance was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 89 minutes. Craig Rees was given a chance to change things around. EVILinc had most of the ball, with 73 percent of possession.

Most important EVILinc player was Arron McMullan. Ross Murphy turned in a dismal performance, however. György Mahler performed admirably for Park. Craig Rees was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
