Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 4334 at Satellite 15 today. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hauke Deutz and . A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Pigs. Starters: Heerssema - Clark, Warendorf - Tingwell, Mercurio, Irapehama, Köves, Lagin - Reboa, Harrison, Moody.

Krosnianka tactics involved an interesting 2-5-3 combination. The following players took the field: Keppler - Brianceau, Guillot - Stitle, Łukasiuk, Dulat, Galun, Otero - Elordi, Kuchciński, Rădulescu.

5 minutes into the game, Adam Kuchciński had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. After 19 minutes, Alex Tingwell came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 1 - 0, giving Pigs the lead. Marian Ferenz was called on to replace Krosnianka's Łukasz Dulat after 25 minutes following a nasty collision. Pigs put themselves up 2 - 0 when Aron Lagin broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 27 minutes, Krosnianka did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, Jérôme Stitle was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 2 - 1. Edward Irapehama wanted to play on, but the Pigs coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 30 minutes into the game by Kip Chudasama. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Barnabás Köves squirmed through their central defence after 41 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Pigs enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

The crowd roared its approval when Watze Heerssema somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by Krosnianka's Adam Kuchciński 69 minutes into the game, following a good move through the middle. After 70 minutes, Krosnianka switched Adam Kuchciński with Pekka Mämmelä, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Cheers filled the stadium as Glenn Harrison broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to Pigs. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Pigs to 5 - 1 as Reginald Mercurio finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. The players of Pigs now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. With 75 minutes played, the Krosnianka coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. Albert Szablicki came on, Julien Brianceau had to leave the fray. With 86 minutes played, Pekka Mämmelä had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot from the middle flew harmlessly wide of the goal. The referee showed Krosnianka's Pekka Mämmelä the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The corner kick from Mickaël 'Guillotine' Guillot was powerfully met by the head of Albert Szablicki to make the score 5 - 2. Pigs's Sigismondo Reboa increased the lead to 6 - 2, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 88 minutes. After 89 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by Reginald Mercurio might have resulted in another goal for Pigs. However, Jürgen Keppler made a spectacular save. Possession in this half belonged to Pigs, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Pigs's best player was Donovan Clark. Hector Moody on the other hand, had a terrible day. Krosnianka's top performer was clearly Marian Ferenz. Ibon Elordi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 2.
