MSO 0 - 4 Bellevue

It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 2296 that came out to MS Park. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Facundo Fasén and . MSO had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. The following players had been chosen: Dahlberg - Bošnjak, Hedegaard - Rotoklis, Closener, Zaabalawy, Cottaz, Chrzan - Luccarini, Therkelsen, Testi.

A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Bellevue. Lineup: Turagabea - Paokis, Tuqiri, Văn Cao, Vaughan, Filipović - May, Charmawawina, Gambhir, Lancaster - Whitaker.

After 12 minutes, MSO's Torsten Hedegaard fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! This was a good period for the visitors, with several opportunities to take the lead, particularly when Cô Văn Cao slipped through the defence on the right to come up alone against Eskild Dahlberg, but the home side's keeper showed his lightning reflexes. Bellevue will have to do without Chester Tuqiri for a time, due to a bad foot injury at the 23 minute mark. He was substituted by Brad Riisager. The terraces were silenced after 24 minutes when Bellevue's Wally Whitaker put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. With 26 minutes played, Luc Closener of MSO fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. 32 minutes into the match, Troy Vaughan came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Bellevue came close to extending their lead as Cody Lancaster delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 42 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Bellevue claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

After 47 minutes, Bellevue were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. Caleb Charmawawina did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Bellevue coach let Prashant Akhade replace Wally Whitaker after 55 minutes. After 61 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed Prashant Akhade to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. After 71 minutes, following yet another great corner, David May's flick on at the near post reached Cody Lancaster, who was just wide with his snapshot - the ball went out for a goal kick. After 72 minutes of game time, David May had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but Eskild Dahlberg was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. The sunny day didn't make things easy for Kosta 'Crush' Filipović who didn't seem his usual powerful self on the pitch. With 79 minutes played, Bellevue put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Sofoklis Paokis. After this, you could see that the players of Bellevue were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Bellevue's Cody Lancaster was shown a yellow card after 80 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The home crowd was not impressed when Sofoklis Paokis came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 81 minutes. Bellevue were now up 0 - 4. Bellevue's Sofoklis Paokis had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 82 minutes having been played. Craig Fatt was the replacement. Bellevue had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

MSO's best player was Nestoras Rotoklis. On the other hand, Šerif 'Mr GL' Bošnjak's play was disheartening. Bronx Turagabea performed admirably for Bellevue. However, Craig Fatt made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 4.
