Park 1 - 1 Tricolor

23319 spectators had found their way to St Peter's Field, despite the heavy rain. was the appointed referee with assistance provided by and . Park decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Vastbinder - Clegg, Treacy, Bramble - Foody, Langø, Branderberg, Mahler, Ritchens - Csutak, Khan.

Tricolor started off with a 5-4-1 lineup. Lineup: Tarawaly - Hodgton, Sneesby, Martin, Ralson, Smithson - Palmer, Dufour, Pilarski, Gomez - Stewart.

Park preferred to finish off their attacks from a distance, taking advantage of their excellent level with that tactic. The wings were the focus of most of Tricolor's attacks on this day, taking advantage of their outstanding level with that tactic. Tricolor's Joe Stewart gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 10 minutes with a superb strike from the right. Park focused on finding shooting opportunities from distance and after 27 minutes György Mahler fired off the big cannon, but the shot went sailing over the cross bar and into the car park. Folke Pilarski did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. Alexei Smithson was having a great game - if anything the pouring rain seemed to be spurring him on! After 44 minutes, Ove Branderberg sent the corner kick right to Gunnar Langø who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 1! Halftime score was 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Park, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

After 60 minutes, the Tricolor coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving Folke Pilarski off the field. Angus Buchanan took his place. With Folke Pilarski no longer on the pitch, Julien Gomez became the new set pieces taker. As the 65 minute mark approached, the Tricolor coach decided it was time for a substitution. Julien Gomez reluctantly made way for Joey Arbuthnot on the pitch. Julien Gomez was coming off, and had placed his last free kick for the day. That meant that Louis 'Fabulous' Palmer got the chance to showcase his dead ball skills. 70 minutes into the game, Tricolor wanted to bring some new energy to their game. Joe Stewart gave Razak 'Unstoppable' Inam a quick hug as he left the field. Aurélien Dufour was handed the Tricolor captain's armband. Tricolor almost scored after a counterattack 70 minutes into the match, but Angus Buchanan took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Park's slick passing moves completely confused the defence after 71 minutes, but thanks to Solomon 'Warrior' Tarawaly's miraculous save from Gyula Csutak's long shot the score remained unchanged. With 76 minutes gone, Chris Sneesby suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Tricolor caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. Park claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Park's top performer was clearly Tim Vastbinder. However, Christian Foody made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Tricolor player was without a doubt Solomon 'Warrior' Tarawaly. Joey Arbuthnot turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
