The 4087 fans in attendance at The Armoury were roasting in the hot sun. Jean-Pierre Rindlisbacher was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Oswald Moore and Paul Baugh. A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Bellevue. They fielded: Turagabea - Tuqiri, Kimera, Lancaster, Chan, May - Paokis, Fatt, Charmawawina, Filipović - Svensson.

Foundation started off with a 5-4-1 lineup. Starters: bin Hj Azni - Ah Jie, bin Hj Hafeez, Ghazali, bin Hj Riwandi, bin Suhaime - Yao Ho, Duprat, Montafia, Moldavanov - bin Jaffar.

Foundation preferred to finish off their attacks from a distance, taking advantage of their poor level with that tactic. 6 minutes in, Foundation's Alonso 'Moustache' Montafia received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Cody Lancaster of Bellevue had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. Cô Văn Cao came in to finish the match. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Tomas Svensson, but the Bellevue player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! A well-executed free kick by Caleb Charmawawina after 25 minutes made it 2 - 0 for Bellevue. After 31 minutes Bellevue's Kosta 'Crush' Filipović limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. With 33 minutes played, Bellevue's Cô Văn Cao almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. With 35 minutes played, Bellevue put themselves up 3 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to Caleb Charmawawina, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After 36 minutes, Bellevue's Caleb Charmawawina found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 4 - 0. By then Caleb Charmawawina had scored three goals - a hat trick! Confident in their lead, Bellevue's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Halftime score was 4 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bellevue, with 68 percent of the ball.

54 minutes in, Ahmad 'Firestarter' bin Jaffar made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but Bronx Turagabea refused to let the ball slip by him. Tomas Svensson wanted to play on, but the Bellevue coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by Wally Whitaker. Bellevue's Chester Tuqiri saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 70 minutes. 71 minutes into the game, Foundation seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. Usually a powerful player on the field, Kosta 'Crush' Filipović looked kind of pale and tired under the hot sun. The coach of Bellevue was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 80 minutes, Paranun Benjakul came on for Craig Fatt. A crazy pass by Wasis 'Wall' Ghazali towards his own keeper almost caused a goal for Bellevue, but Kosta 'Crush' Filipović didn't get the finish right. Brendon Chan had a fantastic opportunity to put Bellevue up another goal 89 minutes into the match after a pass through the middle set him free, but he fired just over the crossbar. Bellevue had most of the ball, with 69 percent of possession.

The most dominating Bellevue player was without a doubt Bronx Turagabea. Brendon Chan turned in a dismal performance, however. Ahmad 'Firestarter' bin Jaffar performed admirably for Foundation. Wasis 'Wall' Ghazali on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.
